ABOUT
K Van Dam a Washington-based art director working for the casual game company, Flowplay. She is also the co-author of a self-published, all-ages superhero comic Minor Acts of Heroism. She hails from England and Las Vegas and presently calls Everett, Washington her home. This far-ranging combination of formative locations makes her very proper, occasionally scandalous, and extremely emo. When she's not drawing or writing about superheroes, she's drawing or writing about hackers or elves, most often in the YA or NA categories. As a comic writer and illustrator her work has been published in Puerto Rico Strong, Proud: a LGBTQ+ YA anthology, and Oath Anthology. As a poet her work has been featured in the Latino Book Review. She has a BA in Creative Writing from SNHU.
